Inspirations come from art … let's dive into the world of "Fusion Frames" by Darryl Cox
The inspiration comes from Darryl Cox, a unique contemporary artist, who loves to look for particular branches and roots in the woods of Oregon and then merge them with ornate period frames.
Each work could take the artist many hours of meticulous work, where intaglio ( carving ) and painting are the protagonists.
The modeled and sculpted wood retains its soul, and every sculpture “Fusion Frame” tells a story, a story of shrub that intersects with in the frame and that literally explodes its regularity.
Nature, art and fashion are combined in a unique collection of accessories that appears for the first time at Pitti ( Florence Fashion Fair) where the Maison Tardini 2020 Summer Collection was presented.
The Maison, strongly fascinated by the world of Cox and the sumptuous beauty of nature, gives a new look to simple shapes of the Tote bag: fluid frames define and animate the body of this unlined bag, still “equipped”, because practicality and comfort are not never separated.
The collection has been created as familiarity working with American Alligator skin which, combined with the attention to detail, creates unique pieces with new shapes, but which maintain the lines and movements of the unmistakable Italian style.
