Lord High Admiral of the Royal Navy by Her Majesty The Queen
The Maison Tardini pays tribute to Duke of Edinburgh after his death at the age of 99.
We don’t tell what everyone already knows, but we pay homage to a gentleman who the Duke of Edinburgh’s was. He was a passionate defender for conservation, wildlife and the environment. He was personal interest in wildlife and bird-watching. HRH Prince Philip was the first President of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and then President Emeritus until his death. In 1988 The Duke of Edinburgh supported efforts by a conservation group in Mexico to protect the Monarch Butterfly as deforestation & commercial logging posed a serious threat to the species’ survival and he used his image to actively raise awareness of environmental risks, climate change and pollution, which are putting our planet’s existence at risk.
The Duke’s vision is fully shared by the Maison Tardini, which over the years has endorsed the continuity and protection of the American Alligator. Of fundamental importance is the CITES label, the world organization that manages the conservation of wild animal and plant species through regulations that establish their numbers preserving them from uncontrolled trade and exploitation.
The presence of man and our growing demand for land, water and energy are endangering the fragile balance of life on earth. And it is our duty to protect endangered species of animals.
