Coronavirus: China and Russia sent medical aid to Italy.
Italy suffered a big blow, it was attacked by the coronavirus like in no country in the World.
The top health official in Lombardy, the region of northern Italy that had become the new global epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, issued a plea for assistance. “We need the best energies, and NGOs’ contributions can be of great help,” a visibly worried Giulio Gallera told a press conference in Milan.

China has twice sent medical supplies and even medical personnel. The Chinese authorities carried out a large flight with a load of 31 tons of equipment, including 40 fans.
Russia sent more than a dozen military planes to bring medical aid. The planes and trucks bore giant stickers showing heart-shaped Russian and Italian flags next to one another with the slogan ‘From Russia with Love’ in both Russian and Italian.
